Alella is a tiny wine region in Catalonia, just east of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. Made from the Pansa Blanca grape, this is a rounded, creamy textured wine balanced by fresh brisk acidity. Super-citrus aromatics: fresh and preserved lemon. Lots of punchy citrus on the palate to, with tropical notes and candied peel, followed by a grapefruit pith finish. A really good food wine.
