The whole range from husband and wife team Rafael de Haan and Nùria Altés is worth checking out, but this entry-level white is a great buy for the price. It boasts lovely depth and ripeness of juicy pear and cantaloupe melon, fresh balancing acidity and good palate weight with texture and grip.

DO Terra Alta is the heart of Garnacha Blanca, and the young Herència Altés is an enthusiastic leader. This is the winery’s entry-level Garnacha: full of freshness and energy, unoaked, made from younger vines, and representing good value.
