(at London, 10 Mar 2022)
Drinking Window: 2022 - 2025
Owned by Rioja-based CVNE, Roger Goulart produces a range of reliably good cavas. This gran reserva, aged for 48 months, is a blend of Xarel Lo (60%), Macabeo and Parellada (20% each). Lovely depth to the rounded creamy palate: pineapple, ripe lemon citrus, stone fruit hints, nuts, toastiness and crème pâtissière. It has tiny, persistent bubbles. Finishes with lovely palate-cleansing freshness.
