A new parcel for Waitrose and what a find! This shows a level of energy and fruit purity not easily found at this price point. It balances richness of lees contact with lots of freshness, shown through a leesy buttery weight that is scythed with fresh Sorrento lemon, mint and heaps of fresh acidity. The finish balances a little bitter almond skin note with wet stones and a warm hug of sweet brioche.
