Treading the line between dark rosé and light red, this Galician number has notes of fresh pomegranate, grapefruit and red apple skin, with a touch of bitter orange. The palate is deep and intense, with a keen mineral core and an earthy undertone. A serious wine, with depth, intensity and structure. There's a real crunch to the finish, bitter apple skin and raspberry pip providing welcome bite. This works really well as a light red, slightly chilled, and is perfect for outdoor drinking and eating. Serve it with summer salads, summer berry desserts, it will even handle grilled veg or spicy sausage on the barbeque.
