Waitrose, Loved & Found Treixadura, Galicia, Spain, 2021

Found in Portugal's Vinho Verde region and in Spain's Galicia, Treixadura usually appears in white blends, lending body and appley, lemony fruit to a wine. This example, available from July as part of Waitrose's 'discovery' Lost & Found range, is fairly neutral in character, faintly citrussy with fresh green apple fruit. A good, simple food wine.
