Broody, deep nose with plum, dark figs, thyme, sage and a hint of tobacco. Some smoky notes play in the background. Good integration of both alcohol and wood. Firm tannins with a firm, savoury grip. Intense yet refreshing quality to the ripe red fruit core. INteresting interplay between Monastrell's savouriness, Cabernet's capsicum and Syrah's tapenade umami. Good persistence with lingering cedar, prune and dried herbs.
