Spending the day with Javier Arizcuren was one of the highlights of my first 'post-lockdown' travels. Pre-phylloxera vines, and pure expression of a selection of single varieties, though not all yet available in the UK. This Garnacha from the Sierra de Yerga is delightfully full of flavour. It's also unoaked: 'I want you to be able to taste the fruit'.
