From a star of the new wave of terroir-driven Riojas, this Tempranillo-Graciano blend is an arresting expression of wild, highland vineyards. There is a lot of fresh acidity, and the tannins are slinky but sinewy, backed up by succulent blackberry fruit of real depth, and flavours that are both savoury-earthy and paprika-spicy.
