We may be in Rioja, but there's no Tempranillo in this blend of old-vine Garnacha with Viura. It's a pale to medium salmon in the glass, and definitely on the fruit-forward end of the spectrum, though completely dry. Lots of ripe red fruits, and a hint of orange citrus. A little short on the finish, but has freshness, and the guts to match well with spicy chorizo or paella.
