Whereas other similarly priced supermarket Riojas are all dry oak and cloying vanilla with no fresh fruit, this unforced, elegant Reserva shows great balance between juicy berries, creamy caramel oak, dusty tannins and vibrant acidity. You can even get it in a magnum for £17 – cracking value!
