Marks & Spencer, Found Mazuelo, Rioja, Spain 2019

A drop of Mazuelo (aka Carignan) is often added to Rioja, but with just 3% of the vineyard area, it's rarely made as a varietal. This, from noted producer Muriel, wears its alcohol lightly thanks to concentrated summer pudding flavours and excellent tangy raspberry acidity. Succulent, perfumed and inviting.
