Aldi's very basic Toro Loco red at £3.99 is a firm customer favourite, but this much more nuanced example is well worth what is still a modest price. Bobal grapes are handpicked from a parcel in La Finca, the original Toro Loco vineyard, and vinified and aged in clay amphorae. It's medium bodied with ripe currants and textural fruit tannins on the sappy palate. Just 3,000 bottles were made, so snap it up while you can!
