Valdesil, Montenovo Godello, Valdeorras, Spain, 2016

This Godello has a restrained nose, with hints of tropical fruit and lemon zest. The palate is very direct and precise with good mouthfeel. There is just a hint of slightly warmer stone fruits, but this is combined with depth, concentration and a very mineral, dry finish.
