Yapincak is an indigenous grape variety to Tekirdag, in north-western Turkey. The grapes are grown on a vineyard overlooking the Sea of Marmara, grown at an altitude of 100 metres on clay soils with a very high mineral content. An explosion of citrus fruit, notably lemon, is apparent on the nose and in the mouth. This is a zesty, refreshing, and somewhat unique wine.
