This refreshingly characterful Bacchus was crafted by the father-and-son winemakers, Owen and Fergus Elias, named after Balfour's 'head dog' Liberty. Freshly peeled lychee, lemongrass and thyme on the nose. Fresh green fruit zest with a rounded, saline texture on the palate, thanks to a touch (5%) of oak ageing. A pinch of white pepper on the zingy, spicy finish. A vibrant, salivating food wine perfect for summer sipping.
