Biddenden Vineyards is one of the first producers in the UK to plant Ortega, a cross of Müller-Thurgau and Siegerrebe. This dry Ortega showcases the wonderful flavour spectrum of the grape: fresh nectarine, thyme and Mediterranean herbs. It has good weight on the palate, showcasing honeyed green fruits and melon, finishing with a touch of strawberry jam. Characterful and easy-drinking, it is well-balanced with bright acidity (6.8g/l).
