Bolney Estate, Winemaker's Edition Rondo-Pinot Noir, 2019

From West Sussex producer Bolney. Juicy black cherry and blueberry nose, with a hint of smokiness. The fruit-forward palate is well-balanced, with good acidity: a melange of fresh red berries and ripe black berries, wrapped in a lick of black pepper spice, plus a slight savoury undertow. A good wine for food.
