A real mish-mash of grape varieties including oddities such as Schönburger and Huxelrebe, alongside better known varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. All varieties are vinified separately before being blended, with 50% undergoing malolactic fermentation for added body and richness. The result is an inviting wine with a pear and citrus nose and some countryside leafiness. The palate opens with a crisp lemon character, filled out with hints of juicy mandarin and nectarine and a mineral stoniness. The finish is dry and crisp with notes of green apples.
