Ripe blackberry, prunes and violet on the nose, with wood spices and a hint of inky minerals. Spiced juicy dark fruits, sour cherry, tobacco leaves and dried herbs on the palate with a touch of wood tannins. Aged in 30% new French oak for 9 months without fining or filtration before bottling. The 7.2 g/l of acidity is softened by malolactic fermentation and 5 g/l of residual sugar. The spiced minty minerals last till the finish.
