Salted butter-roasted nuts, lemon sherbet, and green apple on the nose. Richly satisfying on the palate with creamy butterscotch mousse, caramelised red apple, and tangerine zest. A saline, mineral undertone enunciated by green citrus acid, with the depth of sweet-spiced pastry and roasted nuts. Extremely long finish. The base wine was partially aged in old oak and underwent partial malolactic fermentation, followed by six years and four months on lees.
