From Barbera Laithwaite's two-hectare vineyard in the Chilterns, this traditional method blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier opens with some butter, peach and citrus peel. In the mouth it continues the citrus theme, with lime juice and orange peel accompanied by some gentle peachiness and a hint of creamy lees. The bright acidity is typical of English sparkling wine, however this is nicely balanced and the edges are rounded. Yum!
