Velvety tannins cradle the blueberry, blackberry and strawberry jam fruit. A broody layer of mocha, dark chocolate and forest floor adds smoky nuance. The addition of Petite Sirah (20%) adds a welcome herbal depth and structural definition to the otherwise smooth, wide and dark juiciness of Merlot. Concentrated and dense with a long, slightly minty, finish.
