Broc Cellars, Love Red Blend Natural, California, USA, 2018

A great natural wine here made with spontaneous fermentation, no additives (nutrients, yeast, bacteria, enzymes) and little to no sulphites. Intense cherry and blackcurrant on the palate - this has energy and is bursting with life. A blend of Carignan (775), Valdiguié (15%) and Petite Sirah (8%), it's clean and precise with juicy strawberry flavours coming through on the mid palate. Called a 'Californian Cru Beaujolais' by the estate for its bright red fruit profile and soft touches of aromatic spice.
