Delicato Family Vineyard, Gnarly Head Viognier, Lodi, 2016

Delicato was founded as a company of grapegrowers in 1924 and from 1935 started making their own wines. From a great vintage, this boasts concentrated mango, apricot and white peach fruit along with touches of jasmine. The exotic sweetness is balanced by light, fresh acidity, and its crying out for a spicy curry.
