Marietta, Nadi Wirz Vineyard Riesling, San Benito County, California, 2021

From a vineyard in the Gabilan Mountains comes Marietta's dry Riesling of the Cienega Valley. A nice balance of savoury character and bright fruits; aromas of briny sea air mingle with crushed chalk, Keffir lime leaves, and citrus peel. The palate is bright, lively and textured—oyster shell, apricot skin and fresh mint flavours. The finish is long, lifted and alive.
