Sashi Moorman’s talents are manifest. He also makes great wines for Stolpman, but the ones from this, his own label, are gorgeous. It’s full of sweet, warm spice, salted liquorice, a quieter pepper aspect and ripe blackberry – forward and gulpable. Keep an eye out, too, for his rare, stoic John Sebastiano bottling.
