St. Amant Winery, Mohr-Fry Ranch Old Vine Zinfandel, Lodi, California, USA 2021

This wine was made from head-pruned, own-rooted Zinfandel vines from two Lodi vineyards planted in 1901 and 1944. A classic old vine Zinfandel highlighting rich fruit and sweet spice notes. Red fruits dominate the nose, with sweet spice (cinnamon and cloves) rounding up the rear and continuing on the palate. Full-bodied and mouth-coating, this Zinfandel is a classic example of this popular style.
