Gorgeous, if slightly funky. 75% neutral oak 500l puncheons make for a Picpoul that stands alone—aromas of bee pollen. Bruised apple, Geuze (Belgian sour ale), and preserved lemon mingle among a savoury depth. The palate is broad with plenty of citrus brilliance, grapefruit and orange zest come to the fore. The body offers ample richness, with beautiful sweet stone fruit and bruised Granny Smith apple and nuttiness to finish.
