Hosmer Winery, Riesling Ice Wine, Finger Lakes, New York 2019

A cold November 12 evening in 2019 produced Hosmer's first ice wine in 20 years. This rich wine has aromas of candied orange peel, baked apple pie and nutmeg. The palate is rich, viscous and loaded with candied citrus flavours. Honey pear is lifted by great candied lemon notes creating an outstanding balance—a perfect ending to a meal, whether a cold evening or not.
