Zippy and fresh with plenty of depth and concentration. This wine from the Wagner Family along the shores of Seneca Lake is an outstanding value. Stony aromatics lead the way, along with rich citrus hints. There is great complexity in this wine that drinks at three times the price. Flavours of lime zest, dried herbs and rich, ripe pear intermingle. There is depth to the mouthfeel, and a zippy kiss of fresh mint minerality carries to a lengthy finish—unbelievable wine for the price.
