Alexana, Terroir Series Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA 2016

Fruit for this rich Pinot was sourced from vineyards in five AVAs across the Willamette Valley. Forward aromas of vanilla and cherry lead to a dense, rich palate of cherryade and choc-dipped strawberries with structure from 10 months' ageing in French oak barrels, 28% new. Drinking well now, with developing autumnal characters coming through on the finish.
