A back to basics project designed to highlight the terroir rather than winemaking influence, this 75% Cabernet and 25% Syrah blend has certainly earned its racing stripes. Savoury blackberry, star anise, tar and sweet spices are accompanied by subtle grip from chalky tannins. Quite lightweight considering the blend, and it manages to pull off subtlety rather well.
