Chef Enrico Andreoli’s mixed seafood starter consists of 12 dishes and pasta is made to order from a ball of fresh dough at this delightful, unpretentious restaurant. Vegetarian options include pasta scarpara with pesto and tomato.

Ristorante Miky, Monterosso
The Defina family runs this classy restaurant opposite Fegina bay. The seafood-based menu includes Monterosso anchovies that have been salted, marinated and stuffed, and fresh fish baked in a wood-fired oven.
Dau Cila, Riomaggiore
The pesto and potato gnocchi are both homemade here by chef Luca Giaccio, as are the seafood ravioli. A rustic yet refined restaurant and wine cellar, located right beside the sea.

Enoteca Internazionale, Monterosso
Run by two sisters, both of whom are sommeliers, this wine bar has recently started specialising in natural and biodynamic wines. Come any time for a bite to eat and a tasting or to buy products such as olive oil, honey and limoncino, as well as wine.
Cantina Cinque Terre, Groppo
The local cooperative works assiduously to assist its 200 members and the independent wineries. The on-site shop, which is a short bus-ride or 40 minute walk from Manarola, sells the cantina’s full range of wines and other specialities; tastings and tours of the winery and vineyards are available.
